Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross functional and consultant/contractor team members assigned during the duration of a project to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Lead activities required to complete project documents: project plan(s) and schedule(s), charter/structure and roles/responsibilities, scope, budget(s), project ROI including on-going operating costs and resource requirements.
  • Develops project cost estimates and budgets for assigned projects and initiates cost control measure to ensure project budgets are met.
  • Operate as the primary liason between all functional areas, as it relates to the project(s) & program(s).
  • Be seen as the go-to person for team members, as well as the champion for sharing & expressing viewpoints.
  • Be the positive change agent as ideas and/or opportunities for improvement.
  • Communicate project status to team and stakeholders throughout the duration of the assignment up to and ensure impacted stakeholders have an understanding of risks, issues and activities related to the project.
  • Obtain appropriate level of approval for all project documentation to ensure appropriate understanding of expectations amongst all stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on a continuous basis to project team members in the areas of project lifecycle, operating procedures, process and practices.

Qualification:

  • Undergraduate degree or comparable experience required.
  • 3+ years project management experience.
  • Demonstrate a high level of competence in interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Create an environment that motivates, inspires and respects others.
  • Ability to build team cohesiveness and work cross functionally to achieve results.
  • Experience with managing teams in multiple geographic locations, ensuring teams achieving milestones & deliverables up to & including 3rd party partners.
  • Extremely high proven competence in organization and planning skills.
  • Ability to promote a shared vision and customer focus, able to prepare information for executives & senior leaders for presentation purposes.
  • Experience with computer applications such as MS Project, MS Office platform including MS Teams.
  • Must possess a high degree of integrity.
